Whiskey is the king of classic cocktails and it is always a great choice, from the Manhattan to the Sazerac and from the mint julep to the Irish coffee, we have listed 5 amazing whiskey cocktail recipes for you to try out.

1.   Manhattan 

Combine whiskey, vermouth, and bitters in a cocktail mixing glass. Add ice and stir until chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail

glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.

          2.   Jack & Coke

        Jack and Coke (also referred to as JD and Coke, Jack Coke, or a Lemmy) is a cocktail made with Jack Daniel's whiskey and

       Coca-Cola. The drink is usually served with ice in an old-fashioned glass or a Collins glass. Drink with a straw.

3.   Whiskey Sour

        Combine whiskey, lemon juice, powdered sugar, and a handful of ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain the ingredients into

        a glass. Garnish with an orange slice and maraschino cherry and serve.

4.   Sazerac

        Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe, discarding any excess, and set aside. In a mixing glass, muddle the sugar cube and

        both bitters. Add the rye, fill with ice and stir. Garnish with a lemon peel.

5.   Irish Coffee

Heat the coffee, whiskey and sugar; do not boil. Pour into glass and top with thick cream; serve hot.
