The 411 on Whiskey & Whisky

It’s okay if you thought Whiskey and Whisky were one drink, but there’s a difference and it is not just a spelling preference.

Whiskey is from the United States and Ireland while Whisky is from Scotland, Canada, and Japan. The word originated from

Gaelic for “water of life”. The dark spirit gets its distinctive brown colour from being aged in charred white oak casks, and is

made from fermented grain mash as rye, wheat, barley, corn.

The best way to enjoy it? How you like it. It is however highly recommended to drink it straight from your rocks or tulip glass

after adding a few drops of water to release the flavours.
